Kid's Fishing Clinic Rod & Reel Assembly
10:00 a.m.  - - 2:00 p.m.

Citrus County Parks & Recreation and the FWC are teaming up to put on the 13th Annual kid's Fishing Clinic on February 25th at Ft. Island Trail Park (12073 W. Ft Island Trail) from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  This is one of the most popular events which teaches children the basics of environmental stewardship, fishing ethics, angling skills, and safety.  Your assistance is necessary to make the Clinic a success.  This is a great way to give back to the youth in the community.  Please consider giving your time by passing on valuable fishing knowledge.

Volunteers are needed to help put together the rods and reels that the FWC provides.  This is from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.  There will be complementary coffee & donuts available for everyone helping out. 

Saturday, February 25th

Volunteers are also needed on the actual day of event beginning at 8:30 a.m.  To teach the children how to fish, give out goodie bags and fishing poles, direct traffic and to work at each station.  You will be provided with beverages throughout the day, lunch, and a t-shirt.  Coffee and domuts will be available as well.
